Delete player from ongoing game?

Hi guys,

Dont know if you can help me with this, since it could be an issue in FMRTE and not the game it self. But here goes;
Yesterday I increased some stats on a regen, in order to sell him to a larger club (im currently in the 2nd best league). But I didn't realise he was an amateur, and before I could do anything, he was signed with another club. So I went back to FMRTE, put him back to my club, via the swap option. However, I swapped him twice. This means, that no matter what I did, he was in my squad twice. If I tried to change one player, the other would change aswell.

I finally managed to get the dublicate deleted so that there was only one. But now that he has actually been signed somewhere else he is still shown in my list of players.
I cannot use him or move him to the 2nd team, as he is not really a part of my club. He is just there..

Can you help me?
