Looks like its local co-op only again, took most of the air out of my initial hype when I saw this release coming up. Such a shame, I'm sure this will be a lovely remaster in every other way.

I really can't see a reason for this rerelease. Sure, it was a fun game, but for 8 years they should've made a full-blown sequel with new features such as this, not try to sell us what's essentially a game patch + small dlc.

I loved the original, but unless I can get this for like $3, I'm certainly not gonna bother.

Online co-op was the feature I was looking for as well.

You dont have to worry about online co-op anymore. Steam implemented a new feature where you can play local co-op games with others online

I was waiting this release for online game and it hasn't?!?!?
We can use Steam Remote Play but I think it's only for friends, i would love to have online search for other players ingame

I think Steam Remote play offering your friends to play the game for free more than generous enough, without everyone on the internet as a whole having the same thing. :)

I love the feature but it still needs a little more work, but more so on the latency and game compatibility, than on what you're suggesting, no offense.

The tag "multiplayer" should be removed. That usually means online. It also has the tag local multiplayer, which is fine.

I don't know if Remote Play Together is a valid substitute for actual online play. A 60FPS stream has some abhorrent lag even on a LAN setup. I don't think i can trust that kind of lag on an internet connection.

You have misunderstood me. I want search ingame players in Jamestown+. Game itself should be online and not depend on Steam Remote Play.

This game upgrade with no online has nonsense for me (although I will end up buying it anyway, shame on me)
