Get them all!

Any one the same problem with "get them all" achievement. I won more than 4 best movie awards, the achievement dont pop

It may take more than 4 wins in 4 genres for it to trigger, or you may have to go through all of the genres in one game for it to trigger.

maybe I have to win them consecutively ... that is to say win four times in a row :S

To bump this topic up - Anyone else with thoughts on this? I had 5 or 6 "best movies" in my first playthru on easy, and I'm up to eight on my second playthru in expert, six of which are in different genres. The achievement still hasn't popped. The only thing I can think of is that maybe sequels don't count for the achievement, since all of my award winners are sequels.

Sadly I don't have the save game when it triggered, but you might be on to something with sequels. I believe that the achievement didn't trigger the first time I won 4 best movie awards, but it did on another playthrough.

Ugh, frustrating, haha. It's the only achievement I don't have, and while I really like this game, I was hoping to power through that last one before moving on to Crusader Kings 2 or something else. If it does require 4 non-sequels, that might mean another couple of hours of playing.

It is broken, its quite clear that the text says that you should receive it after 4 best picture awards in a game. I have also fulfilled this condition and it didn't fire. Perhaps it has become bugged at some point. It could be the developers intended something else, but the text is unambiguous.

maybe you need to get the archievement before x turn, i mean, before round 300 i think (cant remember max turn)

After many hours fumbling around, I finally discovered that you unlock this achievement by obtaining four distinctive awards titles.

As you may not be aware, each award show has a distinctive name.

For example, one that I frequently come across is 'The Empire Golden Balls Awards'.

By understanding this, you then can piece two and two together.

My playthrough:

1. Sport - Sundancer Awards
2. Comedy - Sundancer Awards
3. Horror - Eafta Awards
4. Fantasy - Eafta Awards
5. Action - Empire Golden Balls
6. Romance - Empire Golden Balls

And finally, the RNG Godz blessed me and I was able to complete the achievement with a seventh win - The Roskars Awards with a Sci-Fi film.

I've played this game a long time ago, this achievement was the last. I came to the forums to check the conditions for this, because I know i played the game on endless and not getting the achievement. So i thought this might only be available for the shorter durations. Seeing it's 7 different awards, I'm confident now to start a new game. I know I'm replying to a very old thread, but I'll update when i get this one.

So yeah, 4 wins from 4 different award titles indeed. Thanks for the heads up, i thought it was bugged all that time. :)

If anyone stumbles upon this and struggled to figure out why certain awards did not spawn this might help.
The different award ceremonies are tied to your full audience size (increased on Floor 4). I'm not sure what the boundaries are, but you should get 2-3 chances at each award before increasing your audience outside of that boundary. If you haven't got an award yet don't increase your audience size.
