edit:
And Vertexer, of course. With RayGear prototype, please)
Heh, nice. I totally forgot about Psychic Force, though i played the **** out of it on the PSX.
Never played the sequel that came out later though.
As far as Gunslinger stratos is concerned .. why not part 2 ? It's just a greatly improved version graphics wise; gameplay didn't change much/signfanticantly (in my opinion, i didn't play either of them much) though PC is the wrong platform. Who has a light-gun for a controller ? Nevermind 2 that are required for the game. Gunslinger stratos however is excellent for the Wii/Wii-u as you can simulate the arcade controls with the wiimote/chuck easily.
And regarding Groove Coaster, i think they purposely only ever ported it to touch devices (a.k.a mobile) cause of the touch-screen controls and the flow of the game when doing the zig/zag combo's etc. etc. so PC version ? Not likely.
The rest of your list is super solid though. Definitely some great Taito classcis in there.
Crime City, Superman, Thunder Fox, Rambo III, Space Gun, Cleopatra´s Fortune, Puchi Carat,
Puzzle Bobble 4, Psychic Force 2012 (this one is tricky since the arcade version had the better looks & gameplay, yet the home version had by far the best extras...)
And, even though it was not a game for the arcades, I would not mind at all seeing either Magic Pengel or its sequel Graffiti Kingdom.
Seriously, Taito´s library of excellent games is downright amazing!
G-Darius
Gekirindan
And from the same year, 1987...
Thundercade (Twin Formation) from Taito/Romstar.
This was my favorite scrolling shooter cabinet back in the day.
And finally Hellfire from 1989. An awesome sidescrolling shmup with great music, design and gameplay.
Isn't Hellfire a Toaplan game? Now a Toaplan compilation would be sick!
Yes, Hellfire was developed by Toaplan, but published by (licensed to) Taito.

1) Ah, my bad. Yeah, i would agree with you. I just... Want SOMETHING to be in Steam that would have similar flow to... Sega's Virtual On. Really need some arena shooter/fighting of japanese gamedesign school. Namco tried with their Rise of Incarnates which was stripped down Gundam Extreme Vs for mechanics but they failed and closing down that.
2) Yes and no. While oh yeah touch screen is where it is, also because u have ULTIMATE ZERO LATENCY when using touchscreen instead of pushing buttons, because there is NO millisecond time for pressing and unpressing every time...
...but, AFAIK, arcade version of Groove Coaster retired from touch controls to dual joystick input. Considering needed movements, i don't think it would be as much unplayable as we suggest, on controller.
Parasol Stars
G-Darius
Raystorm
Bubble Symphony
Darius Gaiden
The New Zealand Story
I still have all my Ray* games.
G-Darius
Raystorm
The others dont need a new port for me - maybe Psychic Force 1 / 2 / 2012, but its not my favorite serie -
taito should have the rescourses to pull it off, better than others.
HD-conversions of older games just ruins the artdirection and style of the originals, and make them look like ugly flashgames..
