One thing I didn't get was the functional difference between A+ and C+, I'm assuming they're used for pretty much the same and having both buttons just let's you store 2 different frequencies to use at different ranges.
Following the RAM quote on Icarus' guide, I was using t:10 for point blank range (on A+) and t:20 for almost fullscreen (on C+), didn't mess with interval. It works and I get the flickering counter, but it seems to stay on red a bit longer than necessary, compared to the stuff I've seen on superplays. Using A.I's settings from the post above I don't get the counter changing to red at all, maybe I'm doing something wrong.
All this was with W-Power, the settings for other shots might be different, I don't know.
It turns out I was COMPLETELY overthinking Maniac 1.5 however, as there's a complete absense of tapping mechanics. This is only relevant to Maniac Normal, so I'm wondering where the t:3 i:2 settings come into it. Hmmmmm.
The slow A tapping can be done manually, and I haven't tested the C+ settings myself yet, but some friend tried it and it was flickering just fine.
edit: tried C+ on the st2 bushes and it rockets just fine, no flickering though.
Hmmm, might want to trade that powershot A+ setting for a SAT one.
Also, just saw a video on nico of some guy using t:2,i:13 for SAT and t:2,i:2 for FCT.
Will try that later.
For the rapid C skyrocket, 2:2 seems to work best so far, but still nowhere as good as this
Still no idea how to get C skyrockets like in the replay I linked in my last post, or like the current #1 in 1.0 maniac.
