Trojan?
Alright so I bought this today along with part 2 but after I downloaded it and wanted to launch it I got a failed error message saying I was missing some executables and right after my anti virus software was saying it contained a trojan, it also happened to part 2 so my question is, what gives? Is the power of magical girls this damaging to your computer?

Of course I know that products downloaded through steam don't contain any viruses or other damaging files to your computer buuut this still makes me iffy about putting it under the exception list of my anti virus software. Anyone else having these problems?

Which file is being flagged?

michirupt1launcher.exe and michirupt2launcher.exe under the steam folder

The launchers are designed to prevent some bugs from happening with the engine trying to write bad xml files for English systems. So it tries edits some config files in your roaming profile. Maybe that's why its flagging it.

Alright then its save to assume to put them under my exception list? Or is there any way to fix this

Yes, anti-virus programs often flag VNs as viruses when they are not.

Not just VN's. AV software tags a lot of DLL & .exe files from Steam downloaded games as trojan software.

Just remove your AV software, you don't need it. Use either Firefox or Chrome and use the scriptblocker addon.
use windows defender or maybe a reasonable paid AV like Eset
