G-senjou no Maou - The Devil on G-String

Steam version and normal non-cencored version difference?
Should I choose it over normal version? I understand it has a different UI and 16:9 res support + censorship. Does the higher res support mean stretching to full screen? Are hentai scences plainly omissed from the game? Is that noticable?
PS: I know there are older threads with simmilar topics, yet they don't answer my exact questions.
PPS: I do feel sorry for disturbing the dead forum .

I've played both versions, but I'm too lazy to see all of the difference between the Fan TL version and the Steam version. What I've seen so far is that
  • Yes, the Steam version has a different UI and supports 16:9 aspect ratio. And no, it is not stretched. However, in Steam version, the CG arts are cropped which disappoints a lot of fans. Google that and you'll see what I mean.
  • Hentai scenes? Almost gone completely, normal sex scenes is cut out from the game. But there are certain scenes where this types scene actually has something to do with the plot, so they use convenient censoring to handle that. (At least that's what I've seen in the True route, I don't know how they handle the Side routes but I'll assume they use the same method.

If you're still confused because of my terrible English, feel free to reply.

Thanks for the quick reply. What do you mean by convinient censoring? Also, which version do you prefer?

It's a bit hard for me to explain, but imagine the protagonist is trying to take off a girl's bra but there's something in the way so you can't see it completely. Think of it as an ecchi scene.

I am fine with both version. But slightly biased towards the original version because there's no frame drops when playing compared to the Steam version. Probably because of my outdated laptop.

Even if the Steam version cutted out some of the sex scenes, I can guarantee you that it will not ruined your reading experience. I bought the Steam version in order to support the developers because this VN is really damn good.

I also own both versions, partially due to a bug which prevented me from proceeding with my old laptop.
In terms of the story itself, I'd say the game is plenty awesome enough without ero.

If the ero is super important to you, then the original would be better, otherwise the steam version is probably easier to obtain.

I want to buy the VN as well. Just wondering if anything cut in this version cut some character development, or important dialogue, or something along those lines because I've seen a few VN on steam that's had important parts taken out that hurt a character's storyline :(

Official DLC only sold on denpasoft website, correct?

Hmm, I wouldn´t really say anything important has been cut, still I´d suggest buying the patch if you´re into the porn. I mean, the porn of this one isn´t exactly bad, just decent I´d say. There´s not much CG variation, and it´s not written really well, if you want well-written porn, Conjueror wrote something about that on Curiouscat.
So really its about what emphasis you place on the porn. Personally, I liked Mizuha´s bad ending more in the 18+ version.

Yes, that would be correct. Reminds me that I need to pick up another patch, thanks.

Sorry for stealing the spotlight.:mizuha:

Kanon route was whiped out of half it's meaningfulness but the backlash on the Bad Ending... Main route is still decent even with the HELLA CENSORSHIP
