Game Save does not work properly

Do anyone face similar issue with me?
My game save only save the time and date by the moment i save but it does not save the whole data. When i try to load back using the particular save game, it load back to the previos game save(that was supposed to be overwrite with the new 1 but it did not happen, only time and date update)

Yep run into same problem as you, for somereason only save 02,17,19 does actually saves for me the others slots are just useless. . .

Some Chinese posts been rumoring it might be a Steam Cloud issue, suggesting the saves are occupying more than 10mb of max. cloud space.

I myself don't have this issue yet (only 6mb save for me), but try to disable the Steam Cloud feature for this game at least for now? Right click "Tale of Wuxia" -> Properties -> Update -> (bottom) Steam Cloud -> Uncheck.

Or perhaps do a backup of your local save folder, then play around and delete some potential useless save.

Yeps, i aware of the steam clould occupying full space. Been disable the cloud sync and tested several time and the issue still happening.
Also tried with deleting the save file but it was downloaded again.
I even suspect the save file may corrupt and copy those workable save file and rename into those not possible to overwrite, hoping the new save on the workable file work but to no avail

The solution someone found was to delete the saves in the remote folder (as well as the cache file one directory level up) while playing in offline mode, and then launch the game in online mode and upload local saves.

omg, i trying a lot the bug save, but still keep rolling back old save!? Uncheck Cloud is doesnt work for me~ any solution... please help!

A solution I used to fix save issues was:
1) Start a new game and play until you can move around in Dukang Village
2) Begin saving over old save slots and make sure you don't save over your latest save that doesn't roll back.
This effectively reduces file size of each save slot below 100KB. This essentially frees up space in the steam cloud and it allows you to save.

Please note this is not a permament solution as folder/cloud size limit is about 10MB

My Recommendation to avoid reaching size limit:
1) Limit the amount of save slots used. An example is to use only 5 or 10 save slots and NOT ALL 20 SAVE SLOTS.
2) In-game, drink and eat all the consumables unless specific item is needed later. This will help reduce file size as items are no longer in inventory.

PLEASE NOTE The third recommendation's process might take a long time to finish depends on how much items you have in your inventory
3) In-game, sell items that are unnecessary eg old weapons, armor, random items. This will reduce file size as items are no longer in inventory.
