Rainbow Fish

Hello, I managed to complete all tasks in the first village apart from catching the rainbow fish which is probably given to the old fishman. Did someone manage to hook it? They say you have to use the specials worms at the shop which I bought (second page, they cost 200) but I can't find him. In which area of the minigame does it appear?

I tried many time at the dead wood area (reloaded around 5 or 6 times) but always got simple carps or trout :( My fishing skills is even at 30

Yes, as I said its the red worm in the shop which cost 200.

Just tried the dead wood, 5/5 rainbow fish.
I guess it's skill level locked or something.

I started my character with 30 in fishing so it can't be that... I am at my ninth reload and still no fish :(

I think you may need a fishing skill of 41+ to catch them, either that or I was very unlucky. I reloaded a dozen times, and they didn't appear until my fishing skill was 41 . Even at 40 they didn't show up.

The reward of the task is pretty low.... Just bamboo fishing tool.
So I never did the task again...

i thought rainbow fish is only needed when you are in Luo Yang city? not sure tho
