Similar game?

Hi. Tried out the game while staying at a friends house.....and i could not just leave it alone... i managed to play out the story of the game and i was rly surprised by the game....and it left me craving for more.... I did read that there are multiple endings and i might buy it after some time to see other endings and try out other fighting styles...but i was wondering...

Are there any simialr games? And I do mean similar.... chineese/japaneese ( sry cant tell ) multiple fighting styles... just a rly similar game.

The only one I can think of is Jade Empire but it is real-time action instead of turn-base.

Jade Empire is fun with an excellent story. The Toukiden series is also enjoyable with a similar setting/style. But its also an action RPG not a turn based one. But the visual character customization is great.

I would probably prefer real time combat will have to check them out when im back home...and they are quite similar in other parts of the game yes? story good? multiple combat styles? etc?

Jade Empire has martial/melee/mystical combat styles you can learn. It follows a similar story setup of you being a student at a dojo who gets involved in broader events.

The Toukiden games have you playing demon hunters who protect villages. There are no unarmed fighting styles. Its all weapon styles.

Jade Empire has the better story with romance options. Toukiden's story is fine, but no romances (if that matters), but is far better graphically. Both games let you play male or female heroes. Jade Empire lets you pick between preset bodies. Toukiden has full customization and clothing options.

Neither game suffers from spotty english translations like Wuxia does. But Jade Empire is a Bioware game, so it was english to begin with.

If it is just about the roleplay mode then Academagia, where you play a magic student at his 1st year at the academy, could also be interesting.
