Episode update achievement problems?

Before the episode format update rolled out I got every achievement except for beating the game without losing a life.

I decided to come back and try at it again now that this update came out and added in the new weapons and features. Only to reach the end of the game, get the medal for not losing any lives, and then NOT get the achievement on steam.

I was playing on the new "Tourist" difficulty (I've been playing this game on all three difficulties since I was a kid, I deserve to take it easy damn it) So if that disables achievements then it'd be nice if the game said that when picking it (Currently just says score reduction and fewer keys is the main downside)

Either way, looks like i'm gonna be playing the classic version a while to get this damn thing now, just curious if anyone else has had similar issues with the new update and achievements.

Update: I know it's been all of two hours, but I got the achievement in the old version now, all is well. Still curious to know if this is a problem other people are having as well.

Achievements do not yet work in the "Episode". They will be added in the next update.
