Mac release?
Yo, is there any chance of a Mac release? I seem to remember older versions of RPGmaker not supporting Mac, but that might've changed. If not, do you know if this can be run through Wineskin very well?

Thanks :D

The upcoming RPG Maker MV will be the first version of the engine to natively support mac, but the engine this was made with, VX Ace, does not. That said, you can get RPG Maker VX Ace games to work on map using a few methods, and it is possible to add in Mac support by messing around with the engine and implanting Wine into it, but the problem is that is that it defies the term of agreements for VX Ace, where they state you can't sell a game if you mess around with game's framework and mess with it in some way. So unfortunately this release will not have a Mac release, but I may make and pin a topic here of how to play it on Mac, though first will test with a couple friends with Mac's to see if it functions accordingly.

I've actually put off a few other ideas for MV as Mac support is desirable to me, though, along with the higher resolutions.

Dawww... well, I guess I'll wait for an official Mac release cause I can't get Wineskin to understand it (even though I got OFF to work right away, so whatevs), but maybe I'm just stupid. Danke anyways :)

I've got a Mac as well, so I had to play the game by running it through "rpgosx" Tumblr blog's RPGHub program. If I remember right, the program uses Wine to run. The game worked perfectly on it for me, but the only downside is that you can only play on the small windowed mode. Any attempts to switch to the other window sizes just messes up the game screen.
