- Add player self hosted servers (also show if its password protected)
- Add filters and sorting
- Direct join link (if possible)
Yes, all the features you mentioned are of course planned (although I already show whether the server is password-protected or not). I may even be able to show which players are currently playing (to be confirmed).
I already tried to implement direct join link (which is a feature I personally absolutely want), unfortunately:
1. I don't know if TTO supports CLI parameters so it can directly connect to a given IP/port (for use with the steam://rungameid/<id> protocol)
2. It doesn't looks like TTO supports the steam://connect/<IP or DNS name>[:<port>] protocol (already tried)
So regarding this particular feature, I don't know what I can do. If anyone is willing to help :)
No idea.
- Added sorting abilities
- Added filtering abilities (filtering non-private servers isn't possible for the time being, I couldn't manage to make this filter to properly work)
After investigating a long time, I unfortunately will never be able to display user-created servers, because I simply don't have access to these data. Too bad
I'm unfortunately still unable to reliably visually indicate which servers are private or not (yet)
About the website could you enable filtering by region?
Also you might be able to display the current amount of players via steam statistics? That could give an estimate on how many self hosted games there are.
I've got another lead to get this data. Will test soon. Nope, didn't work. Too bad
I might be able to add this kind of filter, but not sure yet. Will investigate. Yup, that will be possible.
That's of course possible, but I'd rather be able to display player's self-hosted games. I definitively can't get self-hosted games, so I'll display this number.
