My biggest issue so far *Spoilers* *Update*

I'm a big fan of Telltale Games, but so far I have issues.

Episode 1:
The first is that you need a ticket to get inside the dome, but you do not have one so you have to make an elaborate plan to distract the guard. Here is my problem, the first part of Episode 1 is about winning the competition, and they make a big deal that the winner will meet Gabriel. Even if you win, you're still not getting a ticket and must do all the chicken thing to get inside the dome. It makes the whole competition thing useless really. I would think the choices would have more impact if the winner of the competition would be rewarded with the ticket.

Problem number two is when you are in the basement. And you get a choice where stealing is wrong or right. And Petra is all against stealing. But a few seconds later you see her take a sword. What tha hell .....!?!

Episode 2:
I was playing episode 2 and a character asked me what I think about Olivia. At this point it struck me, I have no idea what I think about her, She is one of the character that has like no screen time, and throughout episode 1 she did not show any streanght or features. So far it is Axel, Lukas and Petra who is getting all the attention.

Another problem, and I can admit it is nitpicking. The final battle in episode 2. Ivor drank the fast potion which made him able to move at incredible speed. However the potion wears off and he is back to normal. Then he throws a slow potion on the protagonist to make them slowly while he is at normal speed. This bothered me, because is this not the same thing? From the protagonist standpoint Ivor will again move in incredible speed, so why is this a problem now?

Ok, for the 1st choice, now i'm not sure what exactly happens if you don't go for reubon, but as for petra, she got ripped off, what would you have expected

The first chocie is not about leaving Reuben. It is about if want your firends to stay behind and go after him alone, or let them come along. If they stay they will stop the fire, and you win. If they come with you your build will ofc get burned to the ground.

For the stealing part. She even says "She do not want to stoop to his level". It would make more sense if either Petre was for stealing, and Axel was against it. Or better Olivia.

I have also been thinking about that but one of my friends told me it is possible to get reubon killed? What was he talking about? He said it is when you shal go after him when he takes fire on the competition but as @Pergund said you need to go after him anyways. Waiting to long makes them kick you down to go after him.

I am not sure how to get Reuben killed, but it sounds awesome that it is a possibility.

I think he could be joking. When i asked him closer how to do it he remained stil and came with a wierd answer that did not have anything to do with it. But i would want to know what happends if you don't say anything to the butcher when he has reubon

I tried that, what happens is that Reuben jumps on the butcher and knocks him out.

That is exactly what i guessed. or close to it. I guessed he would run away.

I'm just glad they didn't go the route of the Walking Dead season 2 (you know the part with the dog. Introduce and kill off within 10 minutes).

After playing Episode 2 it is sad that Olivia has not yet shown any features or strength. She has only been a character who is only there to push me in the right direction. "Try to talk to ..." "Try to do ..."

My biggest issue is why I have to include that fat kid with the unibrow in this group. If I had the option, I would just tell him to ♥♥♥♥ off. Also, I wish you had the option to let the Butcher kill the pig. Pork ribs during an adventure doesn't sound like a bad idea. Jokes aside, I find the characters boring as ♥♥♥♥. I honestly could care less what happens to them.

Though it's not explicitly stated or implied, the splash potion of slowness could have been magnified in its effect. I have nothing to back that theory however, so more likely than not, it's a case of "breaking the rules for the sake of drama". I thought the fact that winning the competition didn't get me a ticket anyway was weird, too. Ditto on Petra and her whole "stealing" thing too. Olivia? Who even IS Olivia? I even went on her adventure during Episode 2, and I have no read on her personality. Even Reuben has more character development than she does. I really hope they give Olivia some form of soul in the later episodes, it's a decent sized cast to work with, but they seem to have forgotten that the friends you start off with will be the most memorable... or at least should be.
