Gabriel or Petra Theory

I have a theroy about Gabriel and Petra in Minecraft Story mode. My theory states that if you save Petra Gabriel dies. If you save Gabriel Petra dies. So if save Petra instead of Gabriel we kill Gabriel and not Petra in vise versa. I saved Petra personally but if I saved Gabriel would Petra die? I've seen videos and when people save Gabriel, on the (SPOILERS) map you don't see him. So is he alive when you save him or is he dead when you save Petra? I think he dies when you save Petra. What's your theory tell me in the comments below!

both are alive i think as they're two of the main/co-main characters of this game.

I chose to save petra but in the end both her and gabriel got left behind. plus before the ending all characters still believe and are waiting for petra to find the order of the stone temple that's why lucas and olivia/axel chose to stay.

so yeah i don't think anyone died in this episode. too early for that.

On another question when I do save petra you have an extreamly short window to hit the Uber (SPOILERS!)'s tendral to try and get Gabriel too. Is it possible to do that or is it just 'NOPE BYE BYE!'?

No, you can't save both (I even slowed the game down to like 0.05 speed with cheat engine (1 = normal, 0,5 = half as fast) and tried to click it (and did), but it still "launched" me into the portal), although, I think that if you save Petra, then she'll try to save Gabriel and vice versa. (The last chapter is called "Order up!", so maybe the order will be reunited, including or excluding Ivor).
Also, it's called a Witherstorm (read the dialogues)

I saved Gabriel and on Episode 2 he mentioned that no one made it out. Might meet up with Petra later on, but she's probably ded if you chose Gabriel.

My theory is that when you 1 the other get's teleported or transported to the end in some kind of prison maybe by the wither storm. and we might we the 1 we left behind in episode 3.

Well, when you get knocked into the portal and Ivor jumps out with the Witherstorm destroying it after, he says that he saw Petra running in a different direction. He says it whether you save Petra or Gabriel. So maybe there's a small chance of Petra surviving if you save Gabriel.

How is it proven correct we dont have all the pieces yet and (Spoilers!) in episode 2 that one guy didnt show up on the map originally so gabriel/petra could still be alive but again we dont have all the pieces to that puzzle
