This. Telltale is known for point & click games with excellent stories. We can likely expect the same here.
Well, there goes my opes then... definetely not my type. If this was Minecraft with story mode in sort of RPG, then it would have been great...
Oh well, thanks anyways guys.
Exactly what I thought. I haven't played Minecraft ever. But would have bought it. IF, it had been what you described. Minecaft as it has always been. On Steam, with RPG story added.
And not just another lousy Telltail Point'n'click affair.
But trying to flog it off the back of the blocky pixelated graphics. and the "MC NAME," to cash in on the MC fan-boys, and gals.
Yeah...no.
Next game please...
As opposed to releasing Walking Dead it's height of popularity, or back to the Future around the 25th anniversary, or Game of Thrones during it's red hot phase.
Your logic is completly flawed and tainted by some personal view. I for one have a dozen Telltale games and i think they are all awesome. I will defintely be picking this one up as well.
It'll be the same as all their other titles. With all their recent stuff they mostly come across as being more intended for a controller to be the intended input device.
How cool would it be if Minecraft actually had an RPG mode with proper story (beggining and end) and to achieve the end of the story you had to do all sort of survival quests and adventures, making you build almost all of the possible items in order to get to the last chapter of the story...
Ahh one can dream!
