Tags say they do, but one of the top tags are "memes" so I don't know if I can fully trust them.

Every new Telltale game has had choices that matter, but they don't really matter as much anyways since it almost always has the same ending based on your choices.

After watching a gameplay demo, I would say that choices do matter.

you've recieved good karma
Proably not big changes, but small things. Hard to tell when we havnt been presented with the choices yet

When you're confronted with a choice in a Telltale game, do you always hit the same button to respond? Or do you read each option and choose acordingly? I'm guessing the 2nd. Why? Because the choices matter. They may no change the end outcome of the story, but they change your relationship to it. The choices matter because they make you feel something.

It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying when people say they don't matter.

For one chapter at most, the choices literally don't matter.

depents on it i played the walking dead 1 and 2 the end is almost the same all the times but they are saying that the walking dead 3 will have realy different endings (because its the last one and don't need a sequel)

but the picks you do during the gameplay can make others trust you or hate you

Its never mattered before so i doubt they will start now

As much as I love these games I can't help but be full of doubt, I expect endings like season 2: You choices won't mean anything except the last two dialogue options 5 minutes before the end.

From TWD - Season 1 storepage =

A tailored game experience – Live with the profound and lasting consequences of the decisions that you make in each episode. Your actions and choices will affect how your story plays out across the entire series.

Did that happen? NOPE.

From The wolf among us storepage =

Now, it’s not only WHAT you choose to do that will affect your story, but WHEN you choose to do it.

Did that happen? NOPE.

From Tales of borderlands storepage =

Your choices matter, changing the story around you, and making the tale yours.

Did that happen? NOPE.

From Game of thrones - A telltale series storepage =

Determine their fate through the choices you make; your actions and decisions will change the story around you.

Did that happen? NOPE.

From Minecraft story mode storepage =

You will drive the story through the decisions you make: what you say to people (and how you say it), and what you choose to do in moments of thrilling action will make this YOUR story.

I think we've heard that BEFORE.
