It's specially more frustrating that it supports Mac but not Linux so it's not like it was made on DirectX.

Technically speaking this has nothing to do with the minecraft engine (so its not as easy as just saying, what you said in your post). its built of Telltales custom built engine.

But i do agree. everyone deserves to have an equal chance to play a game. im sure it will be supported in the future.

+1, for all the telltale games on this OS, those after TWD. Their games are very cool.

I don't play games on linux, but I support it over Mac at least, pretty sure Microsoft has nothing to do with it though(otherwise it wouldn't be on Mac either)

Well, Mac is not game oriented, no gamer would pick a Mac unless they are dumb. Don't get me wrong, Macs are awesome machines but they just suck for gaming. However, Windows has been a standard for PC gaming until just a few years, if you wanted to play games on a PC you had no other choice than going to Microsoft.
Thankfully that's changing and know you have more options, but guess who probably don't like that? Yep. Microsoft. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft is behind the reason why we are not getting a Linux port but who knows.

As for minecraft in general am liking voxelands as a good alternative. Should be on steam :D

So far Telltale have never released any of their games to Linux
