Dialog choice speed

So, I got episone 1 of this game on Adroid, pretty much just because it was on sale for a dime. I probably would have bought my kids the other episodes, except for one fatal flaw I see in the game... the dialog choices go by much, much too quickly. I timed the first couple of them... they literally give you less than 6 seconds to read the 3 buttons and decide which you want to click. This isn't nearly enough time for my kids (or, frankly, even me).

So, I guess my question is, before I buy the PC version... does it suffer from the same flaw? Is there a way to greatly increase the time per decision.... or, even better, just make the game completely pause until you choose?

On the PC, you can press the space bar to pause for their other games. I imagine it's the same for this.

Unfortunately, that's the only way I know of around it.

Can anyone verify this? When you pause on Android the buttons actually go away, so you can't read them any more. I really don't know how this got by playtesting at all.

Can you pause the dialogs in the PC version, and still read the button choices?
