Mouse Lag

Please forgive me but I am a mom of an 8 year old and online gaming is not my forte. Ask me to make you a homemade batch of kickass ice cream, no problem. Anyway, the mouse completely lags when he is in the game making it hard to navigate choosing the answer of his choice. It's not the problem with my mouse, as it works everywhere else on my MacBook Pro. It even works when I go to setting and trying adjusting the settings. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you. It's probably something on the in-game settings. Try tampering with the in-game mouse settings.

Probably just your computer, also I want that icecream. (No, I don't. I am creeped out by messages like, "I will send you cookies." well, not like jokes. Just the part when you said you can send icecream with no problem. Please don't take this seriously.)
