Is there any other way of obtaining Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 1 (episode 1-5 and adventure pass 6-8) and Season 2 (it has to be available in the UK)?

I mean you could try and reinstall the game if not re-download the pack from archive.org. If that doesn’t work you probably have an older disc or you won’t be able you to get episode 2-5 because the disc is from a region that not supported

I mean your only option is to buy it on console if you have one, get it from GoG but I’m not sure if it’s dodgy or not so this option isn’t the best option but buying it on console is

gog-games (dot) com is pretty much safe across the board. That's where I got both seasons of MCSM, and I can confirm they work, and had no issues.

They have one of the highest ratings in the piracy community. Yes, sometimes they're not 100% safe, although perhaps it may have been that one of the link hosters on their website downloaded infected files. MultiUP and Zippyshare are known to be such websites, but with a good adblock like uBlock Origin, they are pretty much safe, and the best file hosters out there, alongside MEGA, Dropbox, Google Drive and Mediafire.

One thing I highly recommend you do, is either run the files through a virus scanner, either using VirusTotal or through respectable AVs like Kaspersky or scanners like Malwarebytes. Also, you should be able to just access the Properties of the installer files, and check for a digital signature from GOG. GOG-Games only hosts the DRM-free games, so there's a limited library from (official) GOG that isn't available. They don't have to modify anything to get the installers for the DRM-free games, as there's nothing (DRM, Anti-cheat, etc.) to patch out, that's why it's so safe.


Also, please remove the link to the website. Steam doesn't take kindly to linking known pirate websites, and neither do the (active?) moderators for this game's hub. Even talking about piracy (in general, no linking or anything specific) on a HITMAN 2 discussion got me a community ban for three days there.
