5 Days Remaining For MC Story Mode S1 & S2
Okay, so I own S1, but not S2, and trying to see if it's possible to get an S2 Steam key from like G2A or someplace before the 25th of this month, this year. Reason being is because of this:

https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/important-minecraft--story-mode-information

To those who are lazy in reading, I will copy / paste the most important part:

“On behalf of the publisher, Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Games Series, Season 1 and 2 will no longer be supported on June 25th, 2019. If you have purchased these seasons, please download all remaining episodes prior to the service being discontinued in June."

This is information from Minecraft's official website, from Mojang. I've been seeing people saying "Oh it'll be fine, if you own it, it won't disappear from your library." But are you sure? Are you, genuinely, 100% certain, it won't disappear from your Steam library if it isn't installed? I refuse to take that chance, and so I have reinstalled my MC Story Mode S1, and will backup all its data on an external hard drive, just to be on the safe side.

If you read passed the quoted section in the article, you'll notice this applies to ALL platforms (PC, consoles, etc.). I've seen games delisted, but still downloadable if you own the "license" to it, and the platform continues to provide said content.

But if you trust the system to not remove it from your library, then alright. Don't say I didn't warn you. To anyone that doesn't install by the end of the 25th, please post a reply on June 26th whether you still have your MC Story Mode games. Very curious if it will be removed from the library from those who didn't download it.

*Note Regarding the blocked out part in my post* So wait, typing the name of a website is considered bad? (I was trying to refer to the letters Gee, and the number Two, and the letter A). Wow, had to edit my reply cause using all those together, apparently gets censored, like wtf?

To stop scammers, anyway what is your point in posting? Just buy it, all these telltale games are cheaper sometimes at one place sometimes at another reseller, think i bought mine at ebay.
But if people would have just bought it before resellers would get that news, i suspect they are now more expensive.

steam games don't usually get removed from people's library unless
A. the developer just dosen't want you buying it in any fashion anymore and decides to be a dumb dumb (like happend with Anime! Oi history!, which got taken down due to copyright concerns and the developer got really pissy so just manually stopped keys from working and may or may not have removed games from people's library, i'm unsure on that part.)
B. the developer wants to stop people from buying copies from illegetimate sources (Gee2A is fine, but things like 50+ key packs for 5$ on ebay usually fall victim to this).

I've gone through numerous games being removed from steam and still being in my library. Miner ultra adventures, LGBT vs Russia battlegrounds, GRID, both of the lego hobbit games, every digital homicide game ever, hentris 1 and 2, other telltale games including poker night at the inventory, etc etc. Unless telltale wants to break steam tradition and be huge pee pees, you'll have nothing to worry about.

My point in making this post is because I've seen a few other posts of people saying that it won't be removed from library, and yet in the article, from Mojang's official site, apparently says otherwise. It may not be TellTale that may remove it from libraries. It may be a copyright thing with Mojang, and Mojang may press against any platform that keeps it in their system.

However, that's just my thoughts, and my opinion. Also, I managed to snag a MC Story Mode Season 2 Key thankfully, and installed it on my Steam account. Just wish I could find frickin Walking Dead Final Season now on Steam =-(

Huh, oddly I own GRID too, and GRID 2 (no pun intended). Though I never really touched those games, they were part of a Humble Bundle I got a long time back. And wait, the Lego Hobbit games are gone!? Crap... well, can always look for them I guess on Amazon for PS3 / PS4? (wasn't sure if there was ever a remaster of them for PS4)
SOOOO if you already own this?

does steam let you keep it.. ?
