lava race episode 8 issue

hey everyone i am on episode 8 and during the lava race i get to a point where i need to press E to jump to different platforms but on the second to last one i press E and just fall in the lava and i have done this a few times and always fall in the lava, is this area bugged or something?

You need to do it mega quick. Just spam E, and it'll work.

i dont know what happened but i reinstalled the game and it worked after that

You have to aim your landings. You can actually move whil3 in the air. Took me awhile to figure out. Telltale games aren't usually that interactive.
