QFT!
My only problem with the OP is that they just left out dungeons, from their praise. Especially the high level ones. They're not for the faint of heart, but at the same time they have just the right amount of difficulty to prevent them from being a "wall." I've actually HAD FUN wiping.
I agree, if you actually have a normal level group and not be "carried" through a dungeon with high level players, a dungeon's mechanics can be absolutely the most challening gameplay experience you have seen. Progression is no joke, don't watch any videos and try to do dungeons or raids in this game without a guide, you'll see why this game is so great.
MMO fans with an ounce of integrity, will admit that bugs are a common thing in the entire MMO genre. Especially when a patch is introduced. But it's also true that they call practically every bug (even minor UI/HUD ones) a "game breaking one", and/or hype it up as one, because it's an inconvenience. This has happened like clockwork, in ever single MMO that I've played. Trying to act as though this is unique to WS, when (in reality) the severity of their bugs isn't that much worse or better than any game, is a bit disingenuous. The same issue with "The Roster Boss."
But..."ok".
I still remember my first dungeon in Wildstar. We kept wiping at first, but it oddly didn't feel frustrating since each time we saw what we did wrong and had to adapt our strategy.
The final boss, the dragon, was a hard fight, we watched in dread as our tank went down. One by one we kept dieing struggling to squeeze out as much damage as we could before it was our turn to fall. One player was left a stalker, slashing away for all his worth. His health barely visible on the bar as the impossible happened and the dragon collapsed to the floor!
We whooped and hollared over teamspeak! Never felt that good in any other game.
Everything is crafted with such care by the designers. They understand how to do epic.
