Raiding in WildStar is the pinnacle of raid design.
It'd be an absolute shame to not experience the greatest raids ever created in the MMO scene, so WildStar is something you just don't want to pass up.

Once you PVE here, you're never going to be able to look at another raid the same, you'll always look back at WildStar's Datascape and Genetic Archives and realize that nothing will ever live up to that standard, Past, Present and Future.

If you want to raid, this is it ladies and gentlemen. WildStar is the Platinum to the Gold standard.

Normally, I'd approach such a high claim with suspicion, and would be the first to come down on it if it wasn't true. But the OP isn't really exaggerating. The raids in this game are actually the most fun I've had in an MMO. Being a Vanilla to Present day WoW raid vet, who's raided in multiple MMOs like SWTOR, Tera, Aion, and Rift, Wildstar's raids really set the bar high in terms of enjoyment.

My only problem with the OP is that they just left out dungeons, from their praise. Especially the high level ones. They're not for the faint of heart, but at the same time they have just the right amount of difficulty to prevent them from being a "wall." I've actually HAD FUN wiping.

I agree, if you actually have a normal level group and not be "carried" through a dungeon with high level players, a dungeon's mechanics can be absolutely the most challening gameplay experience you have seen. Progression is no joke, don't watch any videos and try to do dungeons or raids in this game without a guide, you'll see why this game is so great.

The dungeons in this game are easily the best I've ever played. Hopefully the steam release works out for them, it really does deserve the love.

Seriously, the instanced pve design is on a whole other level. I can't remember another game that had me so engaged at the first instance.

Currently there is a game breaking bug in the Raid Instances that is causing many players to have memory crash issues. This bug has been present in its current severity since the last patch, Drop 7. According to the official Wildstar forums there has been little acknowledge from the Developers, Carbine as to any possible fixes.

While I do not disagree with the unbridled love of Wildstar Raid’s, it must also be noted that Wildstar has a history of introducing major and minor bugs with many of their patches. While some players will just state that this is normal of most modern MMO’s an equal amount of players will also state that Wildstar has more bugs and issues than any other MMO on the market.

Play Wildstar if you’re a Hardcore player, that enjoys a real grind and constantly fighting a Raid Roster Boss. That is the biggest fight in Wildstar Raids, keeping players in Guilds long enough. It’s sad when a night’s raid is called off due to bugs or not having enough players turn up for the 20 person raid. Furthermore be ready to be highly competitive within your guild for gear and more important Runes

MMO fans with an ounce of integrity, will admit that bugs are a common thing in the entire MMO genre. Especially when a patch is introduced. But it's also true that they call practically every bug (even minor UI/HUD ones) a "game breaking one", and/or hype it up as one, because it's an inconvenience. This has happened like clockwork, in ever single MMO that I've played. Trying to act as though this is unique to WS, when (in reality) the severity of their bugs isn't that much worse or better than any game, is a bit disingenuous. The same issue with "The Roster Boss."

That wasn't exactly a response to what I said, and was more or less a red-herring. Since you responded like I said something along the lines of "You're the only person who has a problem!"

But..."ok".

I can't speak for the raids, since I don't really raid, but I will second the comment about the awesome dungeons.

I still remember my first dungeon in Wildstar. We kept wiping at first, but it oddly didn't feel frustrating since each time we saw what we did wrong and had to adapt our strategy.

The final boss, the dragon, was a hard fight, we watched in dread as our tank went down. One by one we kept dieing struggling to squeeze out as much damage as we could before it was our turn to fall. One player was left a stalker, slashing away for all his worth. His health barely visible on the bar as the impossible happened and the dragon collapsed to the floor!

We whooped and hollared over teamspeak! Never felt that good in any other game.

Everything is crafted with such care by the designers. They understand how to do epic.

i can't play a game that punish me straight away after defeating a boss . The RNG of rune slots is retarded and that's why i left this game + ♥♥♥♥♥ optimization and 0 content after 2 years .
