This really depends on how you approach the game. There is so much to do. You can not only level up your main level, but also your path level and hobbies.
If you plainly focus on speeding it up and only doing quests, which are on the same level as your character or a level or 2 above your level, you should manage to reac level 50 in a couple days (I heard, that it is possible in up to 15 hours).
I do not want to scare you now, but I am playing this game a lot since Steam Release, do quest areas, which are for my level or slightly below and I have played over 100 hours already (according to Steam, but I also tried out other Races, so that time is not only spent on a single Character) and I am at level 44 right now.
If you want to boost it a bit more, then there are at least 2 options:
1. Add "Signature" Status to your Account, which means: Subscribing. Gives you a 25% XP Boost.
2. Add a 2-Way Authenticator to your Account, which gives you a free mount and a 5% XP Boost.
There are also XP Boost Potions in this game, but I don't really know how to obtain them. I have a couple, but I also invested money into this game and I am in a guild, which has all guild achievements unlocked, so that I can buy different boost potions from the Housing Vendor (XP, Movement Speed etc).
I've recently raced an alt from 14 - 15'ish to 46 or 47 in approx 11-12 hours using a few Flasks of Advancement and having the 2-step authenticator for an extra 5% boost (no Signature involved).
Mind you that wasn't even the fastest I could achieve still (did some side-quests as well here and there).
So it will depends in large part on how much time you have. With the "few hours a day" you mentioned I'd put it in at about 3 - 4 days, and 5 at the most.
always do zone and story quests mainly, only tasks that are in the same area. complete quests 3 levels above you, dont be afraid to go right to the next zone. i was only completing 1/4 of a zone in my recent push to 50 using the boosts listed above. at level 48 you can get into crimson badlands, maybe 49, these daily quests give lots of xp to allow you to hit 50 in a matter of a few quests.
I think I'll give the game a go and see how I feel about things. I'll see you in 17 years when it's finished downloading.
That ruins the game play for me.
One game, and I forgot which one, you could enter a game with a level 1 and someone with a HIGH level character could party you then if you stayed out of range of the HIGH level mobs they were killing you could gain 100's of levels in just a few minutes.
Experience Boosts are nice but not when they lock you into having to use an Apple device or Android device to use the 2-way Authenticator. For those of us that choose NOT to have any Apple Devices and also NO Android Devices, we get screwed on the experience boosts.
I choose NOT to "Pay to Win" and use my real money to have food to eat, a vehicle to drive, and a job!
So TL;DR: For inexperienced player minimum of 40hrs max i would say 55-60 if you take it slow.
nope he is serious. in august(i think) with new drop they will add instant lvl50 (for a price ofc) so who ever dont wanna spend 40-50hrs of lvling can buy it.
He's serious. Here's the announcement article published yesterday.
