How long does it take to reach max level?
I'm sure that the game's questing and levelling is fun and rewarding for most people but I'm just not that guy. For me, personally, MMO's only really start at the max level and after years of trying MMO after MMO it is always the huge time investment for levelling that turns me off.

I guess what I'm asking is how long it will take to get to max level playing only a few hours a day. I just want to make sure that I won't get bored of the slow grinding levelling within a few days and have wasted all the time it took me to download it because lemme tell you sonny, downloading on Australian internet ain't no joke.

Thanks dudes.

Hey Wide Willy Wallace,

This really depends on how you approach the game. There is so much to do. You can not only level up your main level, but also your path level and hobbies.

If you plainly focus on speeding it up and only doing quests, which are on the same level as your character or a level or 2 above your level, you should manage to reac level 50 in a couple days (I heard, that it is possible in up to 15 hours).

I do not want to scare you now, but I am playing this game a lot since Steam Release, do quest areas, which are for my level or slightly below and I have played over 100 hours already (according to Steam, but I also tried out other Races, so that time is not only spent on a single Character) and I am at level 44 right now.

If you want to boost it a bit more, then there are at least 2 options:

1. Add "Signature" Status to your Account, which means: Subscribing. Gives you a 25% XP Boost.
2. Add a 2-Way Authenticator to your Account, which gives you a free mount and a 5% XP Boost.

There are also XP Boost Potions in this game, but I don't really know how to obtain them. I have a couple, but I also invested money into this game and I am in a guild, which has all guild achievements unlocked, so that I can buy different boost potions from the Housing Vendor (XP, Movement Speed etc).

Well if you're really going to race through it to get to max level do what Maxunit has said.

I've recently raced an alt from 14 - 15'ish to 46 or 47 in approx 11-12 hours using a few Flasks of Advancement and having the 2-step authenticator for an extra 5% boost (no Signature involved).
Mind you that wasn't even the fastest I could achieve still (did some side-quests as well here and there).

So it will depends in large part on how much time you have. With the "few hours a day" you mentioned I'd put it in at about 3 - 4 days, and 5 at the most.

you can level in a matter of hours as opposed to days. join a guild for the xp boost and the flasks for bonus xp. pop a flask of advancement along with keeping a flask of r and r up all the time for the double xp, normally accrued by staying logged out in a town or your house. the 2 step verification is another xp boost. the first dungeon proto academy drops a pants rune which also boosts xp gains. signature give an xp boost as well. i have heard of ppl hitting cap in 8-10 hours. i have done it in 13 playing a couple of hours here and there using these boosts. combine this with a double xp weekend that happens from time to time and boom.

always do zone and story quests mainly, only tasks that are in the same area. complete quests 3 levels above you, dont be afraid to go right to the next zone. i was only completing 1/4 of a zone in my recent push to 50 using the boosts listed above. at level 48 you can get into crimson badlands, maybe 49, these daily quests give lots of xp to allow you to hit 50 in a matter of a few quests.

you can buy the boost potions your thinking of from the cash shop with protobucks or omnibits along with from the housing vendor as you mentioned.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I think I'll give the game a go and see how I feel about things. I'll see you in 17 years when it's finished downloading.

I don't like rushing through a game to see how fast I can maximum level them.

That ruins the game play for me.

One game, and I forgot which one, you could enter a game with a level 1 and someone with a HIGH level character could party you then if you stayed out of range of the HIGH level mobs they were killing you could gain 100's of levels in just a few minutes.

Experience Boosts are nice but not when they lock you into having to use an Apple device or Android device to use the 2-way Authenticator. For those of us that choose NOT to have any Apple Devices and also NO Android Devices, we get screwed on the experience boosts.

I choose NOT to "Pay to Win" and use my real money to have food to eat, a vehicle to drive, and a job!

no signature boost, just flask from daily reward and one bought for omni points at lvl 47 with guild buff(not flask) and authenticator buff it took me ~40hrs of playtime. Mostly questing but few dungs as well and i soloed all adventures for quest. But i lvl fast in any mmo and i had knowledge about this game from release although now i play for different faction. I soloed most of 2man quests and even one 5man(when you know how to exploit something). And skipping story cutscenes since i already saw them twice.

So TL;DR: For inexperienced player minimum of 40hrs max i would say 55-60 if you take it slow.

good thing that you get in game currency for free just for playing. i do not think you even tried the game yet. if you did, i know there is a lot and you most likely missed quite a bit about how f2p works in this game. very generous model.

Can't tell if you're being serious or having a dig at WoW.

This move will more than likely kill the game. Alot of people hate level boosts, I know I do. Hopefully they will not go through with it due to the negative feedback. But if they do, I don't think there will be any recovery from it.
