Is the private server actually working?

Hey fellas if anyone is still here hanging around, I read some stuff about a private server being in the works (I think it's called NexusForever?) and working. Has anyone here tried it out and does it really work? And if so, what can you do around? I just don't want to get my hopes up in vain but if it really works that'd be fantastic!
I just really miss playing this game and though it's an MMO, I actually loved it's single player gameplay that I didn't get the chance to complete. The world and lore was so rich and the visuals were really pretty along with the awesome soundtrack. It's silly of me but I still love coming here and remember the good times I had while playing it and hoping for some news of a server or something.

Ive only heard rumors of this server. No idea if its real or what it does or if it works.

From a seperate MMO though, the "best working private server" was a singleplayer, black n white game where you just ran around for nostalgia. So not sure if this private server would be the game, resurrected.

But yes I miss it also.

Thats a shame, it would be nice if this server is true and it's working even if there isn't much to do. I'd take it, I tried to play Wildstar in it's final days but the server kept disconnecting me so I couldn't even joy it's last days :(

I wish I would have sat down and tried the game out. I feel like I missed out. The graphics look cook like some Jak and Daxter feel.

It was kinda hard to do that because in the last month and a half lots of the players quit long before the last days of the game. My guild went pretty inactive a few weeks after the announcement, with chat being quiet as well. Ironically, people bad mouthed the game wile it was up but as soon as its gone its all tears and memories and wishing it was back......

It was a super cool MMO with potential to be something great. Sadly that will never happen now.

Yea this game was truly something special.The profession system was one of the most engaging ones I have seen in an MMO and the unique personality of the game enthralled me. Sad to see it go.

I feel bad for not playing this game more now that the servers shut down. The game gave off vibes of Ratchet and Clank to me and I friggin' loved it.

I really do hope someone finds a way to make a functioning server or something so I can properly experience this game in full.
