Otherland back in Steam Store
It took quite a while, but Otherland is finally back in the store.
There are still some smaller issues to deal with like adjusting pricing slightly in some territories and the upgrades from Standard Edition to Deluxe and Collector’s Edition not showing up in the store, but those should be fixed right after the holidays.

This is good news for those who wanted to buy Otherland.

For those who already own Otherland, there is good news as well. We are currently preparing a large update to be released after the holidays. There will be more information about the patch in a couple of days, but let me just put some of the key words for this patch out there: factions, dailies, epic gear and level 60 cap…

And it doesn’t end there as we have another big patch just going into the preparation phase and internal testing to hit the servers ca. 2 weeks later. Yes, we have been actually quite busy recently :)

Nice, but I think before you make level cap updates there should be combat reworks, if you aren't already working on it.

There is a combat revamp in the works as well, but since it's rather massive I don't believe it will hit the servers before May. While a part of the team is focused on combat, the other part is creating new features and additional content for these features.

We decided to patch content whenever it becomes available simply as preparation for going live later. That way we get a good routine going for handling all issues often associated with content patches so we reduce the amount of mistakes made that annoy us in other MMORPGs most of us play (I am looking at you, BioWare).

Soo glad to see you still have your noses to the grindstone. Now, if the NA player-base increases, I'm getting back in the game. All we ask is you keep us up to speed as to the developments of the game. Just like this post.
