Game not accepting XBox 360 controller input
Keyboard works fine, but controller doesn't do anything. I've noticed some games have this issue when I have my Logitec G13 plugged in, but unplugging it has no effect. I don't think it's my controller because it works just fine in other games like Tales of Zesteria. Anyone have any ideas?

Whats your OS and do you have the latest xbox 360 controller drivers? Also is it an official xbox 360 controller?

I don't have an actual fix for you, but since it could be a little while before an official patch for these kind of issues, you might want to use a controller emulation software like xpadder, joytokey or pinnacle in the meantime.

hmmm. have you tried unplugging your logitech g13 then resetting your pc and then plugging in the 360 controller? and do you have any other controllers plugged in at the same time?

I'll look into these, thanks

Yeah, i've tried that, the only other input stuff I have plugged in is my mouse, keyboard, and drawing tablet.

Ok. well you can try this. I know its for windows 7 but see if you can change driver versions. Just follow from step 5 on down http://www.hori.jp/us/Products/XBOXONE/real-arcade-pro-v-kai-for-xbox-one-xbox-360-pc/install.htm

Same problem for me with win 10 wired xbox controller. Checked a few other games and the controller is working fine. Guilty Gear is not detecting it.

DS3 with motionjoy not being detected either. Why do I never check this stuff out before buying a game.

edit

Managed to get it to work with Better DS3 by binding keyboard keys to the controller. Better than nothing.

I'm having this same exact issue. On Win 7 & my Madcatz TE-S 360 controller isn't being picked up even with the likes of xpadder/xbox controller update. I don't have any issues with any games when using this controller; but it just doesn't seem like it wants to be picked up in Xrd. The odd thing is, is that my wired ps3 controller that's being emulated as a 360 controller is working just fine.

Man this is ridiculous. You would think testing with fightsticks would have been nailed down by now.

I found a fix that worked for me, and I'm using a Logitech controller but it should work for every controller. Go into your device manager and go to the "Human Interface Devices" and disable anything called "HID-compliant game controller" (do this with the controller you're trying to use unplugged though so you don't disable it on accident). The problem is some drivers for specific adapters like the WiiU GC adapter conflict with other controllers and make the games think there are ghost controllers connected. Obviously to use those other controllers or whatever you just go and enable them again, hope this has helped anyone!

I've been looking for a fix for some time, and then I came across your post. It worked! Out of curiosity, do you also own the Logitech G13?

I was having trouble getting my Razer Panthera arcade stick working. I got it to work by switching it from PS4 mode to PS3 mode.
