4 cornered fight stick for GG?
fight stick noobie and im getting hung up on the right corner jumps and dashes without it bieng sloppy. Is a 8 corner fight stick reccomended? Or do i just need more practice?

4 cornered (or "square gate" - gate is the plastic plate that restricts the stick's lever movement) is generally the way to go with 2d fighters. Once you get used to it you can use it for more precision. Besides, all arcades are 4 corners, so the game's designed with that in mind. I wouldn't recommend wasting money on stuff like octagonal gate, practice makes perfect.

Ye almost all fight sticks by default come with a square gate.
I personally do better with a octagon gate because to me personally it made more sense playing with that instead of a square.
The overly vast majority of people play with the default Square gate and I can see why, I'm just a weirdo with the preference for the octagon.

But, if you're like me you can buy a different shape gate for around and about 10$.
(There's also full circle ones if you're into that)
