How did you get your stick to work? Mine doesn't seem to respond on the game.

also try plugging it into a usb 3.0 port
i just plugged in and it worked no problem

Using a MadCatz PS3 stick. Does not work.
My Xbox 360 controller doesn't work on this game either.

SFV is a PS4 only game, but works with Xbox One controllers, on PC. The console it is being ported from almost never has anything to do with it. If it's xinput, it should work right out of the box, and most PS controllers need wrappers anyway.

im just saying because i own 99% of fighting games on steam and most of them dont support all the conrtollers. thats why i have 4 fightsticks and 2 fight pads to cover myself

Just to confirm that is 100% fully compatible with the Hori fc4, playing right now :)

Also using FC4. Just put it in PS4 mode and it works, though I did have to rebind the buttons a bit.

Can you share your button setup? I'm having a really lame ass issue where none of my buttons are what they should be.
