Modding?
I just want to know if the other Arc Sys games have been open to people modding them and if this and the others will have the same mentality. I don't think is going to have a huge modding communitiy but it would still be nice to see if there open to the idea as just a cosmetic thing for characters.

The game is made with Unreal Engine 3, so graphical mods are possible.

That mean texture color mod?

I'd want a pallete editor like the one in KoF and that's pretty much it.

Those are 3d models, arent' they?

Texturing definitely should work.

It uses UE3 and it's 3D models. Use your imgination and don't f up your game

Sure it's possible on UE3 with enough work and cracking any encryption on the files... didn't happen for Mortal Kombat 9, Injustice, Mortal Kombat X, any of the Batman Arkham games, etc... all running on UE3.

There are like 3 mods on the Nexus for this game, all color swaps.

This could break the online and the gameplay. I just prefer the skin mods, actually somebody already release a Robo Ky skin for Ky Kyske.

You do understand that this WILL break the game, because how literally everything is dependant on frames, right?

Local multiplayer with uncaped frames is worth a try. You can simply uninstall mods if something goes wrong.
