I just want to start my journey with GG and i bought this one, is it good to casualy play and smth, and is online still alive? (im too poor for strive tbh)

You should definitely buy Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator (Rev 2) instead.
This is the first game in the "XRD"-series, and is not played, and is missing a lot of content.

Note: This game has seen better discounts, as good as -85% at some point, and multiple -80%. This might've changed with the new update, but worth considering if you're on a budget.

Rev 2 has more characters, the most updated game balance, and features the Rollback Netcode Implementation which improves the online play significantly.

The Story Mode for this game is essentially a movie (no gameplay whatsoever) broken up into chapters and can be watched on Youtube at the developer's official channel. There's also a recap summary in Rev 2.

Unless there's something very specific you want out of -SIGN-, -REVELATOR- (Rev 2) should be your choice.

If you are on a very limited budget and just wanna try out the GG-series, -SIGN- could work for you, but the chances of randomly finding a match online are slim to none. You could try reaching out to someone here or in another community.
