Guilty Gear
Guilty Gear X
Guilty Gear XX
Guilty Gear 2 Overture
Guilty Gear Vastedge XT
Guilty Gear Xrd Sign
Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2
Guilty Gear Strive
There are also games in between like X plus , XX# Reload , Accent Core plus R , etc. Then theres all the other stuff we never got in the west like drama cds , novels , and manga. GG plus R is pretty active online and is different gameplay wise from Rev2. Strive is pretty different as well (played the beta on ps4) so while some skills might transfer over they are all different beast. Hope this helped.
also play every person in Arcade before starting the story mode in Sign because its a prequel to the story
i watched some lore videos, started playing Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, the last revision of Guilty gear XX. i downloaded Xrd Sign and Rev 2 . a NUMBER of people have said skip overture because it's not even a fighting game so i didn't even download it
Pretty much. I just want to add that Guilty Gear X Plus is pretty much the definitive edition of GGX (but it never made its way to the West), Guilty Gear XX can be split in two parts (pre-Accent Core, with GGXX Slash being the latest yet untranslated entry, then Accent Core with AC+R being the most complete release), and Guilty Gear Vastedge is a pachi-slot game that's canon but that barely anyone knows anything about.
