The Isle

"Anti-Cheat integrity check failed (0x2200) You have been disconnected.
Hello,
Since the new update for TheIsle Evrima, I got an error, and I can't play at the game ...
"Client Disconnected: Anti-Cheat integrity check failed (0x2200). You have been disconnected."

I've tried to follow these steps for try to solve the problem, anyway, this don't working...

1) Delete EAC Folder (in the The Isle folder)
Verify Integrity of game files
And run the game
(I've also tried a variant: Open InstallAntiCheat.bat before run the game)

2) Uninstall the game
Install the game
Open InstallAntiCheat.bat as administraor
Run the game

3) Run EasyAntiCheat_EOS_setup.exe
Verify integrity of game file
Run the game
(I've also tried a variant: Open InstallAntiCheat.bat before run the game)

4) Update windows, drivers, C++, .netframework

5) Open task manager
Click on "open services" on services tab
Right click on EasyAntiCheat and select properties
Start type: Automatic and apply
Start the game
(I've also tried a variant: restart computer and put Manual after, and run the game)

6) Steam and The Isle openned as administrator

7) Add the game as an antivirus exception

8) Reinstall steam client

9) Install and run VR Chat

PC Configuration:

GTX 1650 - RAM 16GO - IntelCore i5-9400F
Game drivers update: 6/08/2024
Windows Updated 16/08

Necro'd...

Fixed a friends client with the issue by deleting "C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat\108bae92517548518cbd371722381ded\" folder and letting EAC rebuild it. (It is safe to delete the whole "EasyAntiCheat" folder located in "...\Appdata\Roaming\" if unable to find the proper folder.)

Steam doesn't touch these files in its integrity checks or when uninstalling apps, so you'll have to manually go to and handle the files there yourself.

Note: the Appdata and all of its sub-directories are hidden by default.

My error starts before I even get done with the initial loading screen upon launch. "Easy anti-cheat not installed" and then it just closes itself like "screw you, specifically :D"

Installing this free game seems to work at installing it for The Isle as well, give it a try

Install the game "VRchat" from Steam library, run it once and close it, play The Isle

Tried this but without success. I'm in the same boat as the original poster. Bought the game in the spring and have yet to be able to play it with my daughter.
I have another machine that works fine and she plays on that, but with my primary computer (AMD threadripper + 4090 + 64gb RAM, windows 11 pro) its a no go. Other easy anti-cheat games have no issue at all on it, just this one is borked.
I have exactly the same problem. MSI Katana 17 B13V RTX 4060 i7. With the new update. Unplayable. Except on my other pc I7 10K rtx 4070 working.
I've done exactly what you've done

Huh... I do have VRChat already (I don't much care for it) but I didn't think to try that. Thanks. In an unrelated note, is it still possible at all to play the OG Isle? The not-Evrima version.

Yes, but it's mostly abandoned I think, there could be a few real servers that aren't Chinese bot servers

It may not be related to EAC, it could be your 3rd party Anti Virus, uninstall it (windows defender will then take over security), then verify the game in steam to replace any missing file, now play the game

I don't use an antivirus - windows dwefender works well enough, since all I realy do is read webcomics and play games/write/do my artwork. I don't go to sketchy sites and a lot of antiviruses are scammy anyway
