Freezing on startup.

Ive done the clear cashe, run as admin and all that bs.
I Can play legacy just fine but evrina or whatever just freezes after it loads for 5 seconds into the cutscene.
i got a 3080 with ryzen 9 and my drivers are up to date.
Help

so i uninstalled my anti virus, restarted. tried to run the game and its updating with 700 mbs. WIll post after update is done with further info. this ♥♥♥♥ has been plaguing me for 2 days

Having the same problem but I added an exception in my antivirus and still freezing dont you know what should I do ?

You may need to uninstall the Anti Virus all together, Windows defender will then take over

So you just add it as an exception to your antivirus firewall. However just adding the game.exe wont fix the issue. For some reason whats hanging it up is theisles.exe game(executable) file in the binaries folder. How I got to it is start up the game wait for it to freeze. Bring up task manager right clicked the suspended exe and opened the file location from there and then put that file on the exception list for my Antivirus firewall and that fixed it.

Some have had to completely uninstall and remove the 3rd party Anti Virus, if you do, Windows Security takes over and works very well

-- Anti-Virus issue.. Either uninstall Norton/Avast/AVG/McAfee/Kaspersky and let Windows Defender take over or add the entire The Isle folder in Steam as an exception

-- Make sure to Verify the game in steam to replace any missing files

-- Update your GPU Driver and Windows as well

If you have Avast turn off Core Shield launch the game and turn it back on
