The Isle Won't Start
Hello, I switched The Isle to Beta Evrima and was only able to play after the server restarted, which caused me to go offline.
Later, I restarted the game and only got a freeze screen.
*Pressed End Task
*Restarted PC
*Shut down PC completely
*Uninstalled game
*Reinstalled
The problem has now changed to the fact that the game is running even though it's not running.
I need help :) and hope someone has a solution for me.
Regards / Thank you very much
-----
I'm currently testing whether the normal Isle runs. According to Steam info, I should test that too...
Download is currently running.
-----
The game starts, and then I get the message:
Steam Subsystem Failure
The game failed to properly connect to setup the Steam Online Subsystem.
Please ensure Steam is running and try restarting your computer.
The computer has been restarted.
And I'm writing about Steam, so as far as I understand, it's working...
-----
So, next status update:
*Uninstalled Steam
*Reinstalled
*Reinstalled The Isle
*Switched to Beta Evrima
Conclusion: Same problem as at the beginning
supposedly the game is already running, which isn't possible!
-----
Today, on advice, I uninstalled the game again. But first, I turned off Steam Cloud sync.
Then I reinstalled it, but unfortunately, that didn't help either.
- Delete your Config folder to reset all settings (Do this every time after every major Update or Change of Version)
How to Delete the Config folder
1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, may also improve performance
8. Start the game.
Settings will have to be adjusted again
Also Update the GPU Driver and Windows to the latest versions
thats help me ^^
I've now started the game as an administrator.
I received the following message:

Its an Anti Virus issue Im pretty sure
Put in an exclusion into your Anti Virus using the whole game folder "The Isle"
Find it here >
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Its this. I had the exact same problem and adding the exception fixed it.
