Can't parents join the nesting code?

I'm trying to make nest and die then trying to be born as my baby. But I can't see anything in 'Eggs'. I can't even send the code. Is this way blocked by dev????

i think you need to be reborn by your children....so they have to nest you in.

That makes little sense, group of players already can and do engineer eggs with specific mutations. All you need is 4 players.
