"Easy AntiCheat not Installed"

I was able to play Evrima before, but now with the New Update, it says I Need easy anticheat installed. When I try and launch the setup however, it just does nothing. Anyone know how to fix this so I can Play Isle again?

There is a super simple solution that i discovered today. Go to The isle folder for example "D:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\The Isle" then just delete the anti cheat folder. Then go and verify the game files in steam and it will automatically re-download and install anti cheat then you're good to go. Super simple and the fastest option i've found.

I followed this step and it STILL says it is not installed.

I tried uninstalling it, nothing happens. I tried reinstalling it, nothing happens.

i have a fix, its only for those who truly have tried everything else. my directions are as follows: check your programs files for an Easyanticheat folder and a easyanticheat_eos, if you do not have both, download a game like vrchat which will create the folder. Then DELETE easyanticheat_EOS.sys, then try starting the game while watching the folder. the .sys file you deleted should come back but for some reason now the game works. im assuming what happens is its designated to another game, so deleting it allows the "EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install" in the easyanticheat.bat to activate when it was looking for an easyanticheat folder when it should have been looking for an easyanticheat_EOS folder. this was my experience anyhow.

did not work. have uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times. looked in file folder and I have no easyanticheat_eos. I can play the legacy version just fine but when I change over to envirma I get the message that it isn't installed

You are literally an angel!!! I have been punching the air over this for the last hour and finally came to the conclusion i would not be able to play the isle anymore and was just over it.

Then i was like ♥♥♥♥ it why not, i will try this too because i have nothing to lose and it worked!! I installed VRChat, refreshed my program files and waited for the EasyAntiCheat_EOS Directory to pop up and it did after running VRChat. I closed vr chat after getting to the title screen, went into the EOS folder, deleted the .sys file, ran the isle and watched it repopulate. Only this time, the isle finally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worked!!!! Thank you stranger!!

I PRAY that this is the solution for others as well because every single other one on here was useless and just a bunch of people repeating themselves, this was the only unique solution.

I had a friend whose only solution was to run VRChat once then close it and launch The Isle. If nothing else in this thread works for others try that. It's because the file is missing since the new update but VRChat uses the same update.

There is no easyanticheat_eos file anywhere on my computer. However, when I go to the easyanti cheat website it has a list of games in the support page for submitting a ticket. Oddly enough Evrima nor the isle is listed there. Would make sense that this was not included in the latest rendition of the game if the developers for the isle didn't subscribe to this service. This is just a guess.

I have tried all the other recomendations and nothing worked. This HELPED! Just installed VRChat and played it. Now Evirma works. Thank you.

The problem I had was that I could not find the Easy AntiCheat setup that YT showed in the Easy AntiCheat folder.

which anti ceat should I delete? Vr chat or isle?

it also says DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument
