"Easy AntiCheat not Installed"

I was able to play Evrima before, but now with the New Update, it says I Need easy anticheat installed. When I try and launch the setup however, it just does nothing. Anyone know how to fix this so I can Play Isle again?

uninstall completly the isle and reinstall it passing by legacy and update to evrima that should resolve your problem

if y'all really wanna know. every time I launched The Isle it asked me for my PIN. I just ignored it. But then once this easy anticheat thing showed up, I entered it. Then it just kinda worked.

Its in the files for steam, or The isle. One of em

Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.

i tried this and it still gives me the easy anti cheat not installed error, ive lost all hope of being able to play the isle again T-T i've tried everything

I made a post on how to fix this but I'll post it here since so many people are having the issue in this forum.

- Right Click The Isle [Evrima] in steam.
- Properties
- Local Files
- Browse
- Open EasyAntiCheat Folder
- Double click EasyAntiChaet_EOS_Setup. Most likely nothing will happen.
- Return to Properties / Local Files
- Verify integrity of the game files.

Should be good to go after that. This has fixed the issue for me and my friends.

I was having this issue today, and I got it resolved.
Windows 10
Intel i7 2nd generation
Nvidia GTX 1050

My Easy Anti-Cheat file for The Isle is located under:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle\EasyAntiCheat

Symptoms: "Easy anti cheat is not installed" error message when launching The Isle Evrima. The Isle was launching before I installed the beta. Once I installed it, I was unable to launch The Isle Evrima.

The steps I did were:

1) Rebooted computer then tried to open The Isle Evrima / Same error message

2) Validated game files (Open Steam / Click "Library" / Find The Isle / Click the gear icon to open The Isle's settings / Click "Properties" / Click "Local Files" / Click "Verify the integrity of game files..." [NOTE - As stated by Steam, do not run multiple game integrities at the same time]) - Files verified successfully / Tried to launch The Isle Evrima / Same error message

3) Launched "Nvidia GeoForce Experience" application and logged in

4) Located "The Isle"

5) Noticed game was not optimized / Clicked "Optimize" (This changes in-game graphic settings to recommended levels based off your GPU. If you don't like the recommended options you can change them back in-game.)

6) Once Nvidia GeoForce Experience optimized my game, I tried to launch "The Isle Evrima" / Easy Anti Cheat load bar loaded all the way. After about 10-15 seconds the Easy Anti Cheat dialog box went away and the game launched - No error messages.

The issue is resolved for me.

There is a super simple solution that i discovered today. Go to The isle folder for example "D:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\The Isle" then just delete the anti cheat folder. Then go and verify the game files in steam and it will automatically re-download and install anti cheat then you're good to go. Super simple and the fastest option i've found.

That is exactly what I wrote here, if you look 5 posts up lol.
But I am happy this worked for someone else too.

The only issue I have now is that the game just freeze at startup during the first video. And then I get a fatal error. So I have given up this game now.

I am a strong believer that in programming, there is almost always a better way to tackle a problem or to design a system or a game in general.
My extremely limited knowledge taught me so, therefore I believe at the "top level" there must be at least a few options.
