cant toggle manual alt

I have found a lot of Q&As about other parts of the settings, but my specific problem is the alt bite button is toggled to be non-manual atm. I'm fairly new to this game, but I know that switching to manual would help my control in any pvp moments. Thing is, I can't click it at all. i can change my keybinds and anything else from the main menu, its literally just the gameplay tab that does not work for me.


I've tried deleting the save folder, and can't seem to find the right .ini to toggle the manual alt attack on (also they all open empty anyways?), have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, so i'm at a loss at what to do. it doesn't make this game Outright unplayable but its very frustrating knowing i'm currently handicapped from practicing more precise choices in my attacks.

1. Delete your Config file, this will reset settings/controls and may improve performance:

Open file explorer > put %localappdata% in the ADDRESS bar, press enter, then find The Isle folder (the isle game should NOT be running) then > Save folder then > Delete Config > restart game

2. When you change graphics settings in almost all cases restart the game for it to stick and have the best effect
