My crouch doesn't let me dive underwater/descend in flight
I have no idea. I've tried rebinding my keys, resetting my keys, all of that, but I can't dive underwater on Deino or Beipi, nor can I lower my flight on Ptera with the crouch key. Yet crouching on land works every time, so it's just the diving/descent mechanics.
(Ptera is less drastic however, as you can always look down to fly down. I can't do that on Beipi or Deino, as they'll stay on the surface.)

Anyone have any other ideas, other than resetting my controls? My friend can dive just fine, and I can't seem to find anyone else on the internet with this problem, so why aren't my controls working? They did in past updates, but I took a long break from the game. Now I've come back to my aquatics being busted.
(Even more odd, I can't seem to hang my beak open over water on Ptera anymore, but after some trial and error, I can still fish by aggressively pecking the water, so I guess it's not as game play prohibiting. Still, help? ;~; )

To reset your settings do this, it should help

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder.

I deleted it twice but the glitch still occurs. :/ Every time I load in, my crouch just doesn't dive. Has anyone set a bug report for this?

I know I'm a bit late to the topic, but I have the opposite problem. Sometimes my dinos dive for no reason and then no matter what I try I can't get on the surface and I drown :/
