dX11 and dx12 Problem. Game not launching

Ive been trying to open the Horde-Testing Evrima, but every time I do I get a fatal error saying- "DX12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument."
Ive read up with people who had the same problem with other games, and I found a solution. I went on settings-properties-general, then inserted "-dx11" in the command line argument.
This worked. (or at least I think it worked?) I no longer had that fatal error popping up, but instead it was replaced by a new fatal error, saying- "Unable to launch with RHI 'D3D11RHI' since the project is not configured to support it."
For the past three hours ive been searching the web for a way to fix this, and ive been trying multiple combinations of -d3d12rhi, -d3d10rhi, -d3d9rhi, etc. I am by no means good at technology.

In Legacy it works perfectly but in Evrina the game doesnt open.
does anyone know how to fix this? Or what I may be doing wrong?

win10, gtx1060, I updated the drivers from the nvidia site, updated the directx to 12 just in case (it was 12 anyway), but I still get an error with dx12. I bought the game two days ago and I can't play it! :(

I was helped by updating my win10 to version 22h2

Has anyone figured this out? I have DX12 and all other games work fine except the Evrima branch of The Isle. Every time i put -dx11 in the launch command box the game tells me its 'downloading content' and stays at 0% so I cannot load this game anymore

AMD FX 6350 is a CPU not the GPU in your system, find out what your actual GPU is and update it's driver to the latest version

Oh it's a AMD R9 200 series. The drivers have been discontinued as far as I know, but I have their latest update. That's probably the issue I'm dealing with right there.

Hi, a friend got the game recently and its playing legacy fine on his laptop, the laptop is a gaming one and new, 2-3 years at most. The DX12 problem popped and we tried everything in order to play evirma.

- Updating windows
- Updating drives
- The -dx11 thing on the starting options (it shows a fatal error when trying to open it like that)

I've read that the problem might be the laptop integrated GPU itself, that the game just wont run no matter what. Is there a way to fix the problem with the gaming laptops? Did anyone with a gmaing laptop has been able to play evirma? Thing is so annoying... i mean, he can play Elden Ring on high graphics but can't even open de Evirma beta.

Same. I've done everything I can possibly do to get it to run. My laptops a little old, but this really shouldn't be happening.

I encountered the same problem. Although I have DirectX 12 installed, my rendering level resources are 11_. I tried updating my GPU driver, Windows, and everything I saw on forum and youtube, but it seems that this may be the issue which I cannot resolve (level resource 11_ that can be checked on windows using dxdiag). Hopefully, there will be some changes to DirectX 12 and Unreal Engine so that I can finally play this game. It's incredibly frustrating to be unable to participate in this beta that everyone else is enjoying.

Im afraid our miserable situation isn`t going to change in the near future.
And to be honest, I´m not a bit optimistic to experience some sort of different (or wtf bugfixed) result. Update 7 or not, the devs officially said just: NOT A THING... . Its not even clear to be an UEngine 5.1 related issue. It obviously seems to be an AMD exclusive issue, so no hope in sight for this one.
OK. Solve it, or at least pretend to care 'bout ur customers issues. U're neither the smallest dev team nor the sole EarlyAcces this platform offers. PLEASE give me a reason to believe in this project again. I dont care bout those lousy 20 bucks refund, im just begging on my knees to draw ur DEV'ness Attention on this issue.
Sad to be excluded from a game i previously enjoyed not just to play but to see evolving as well.
If all of this doesnt find it's magic way to a DEV, I Guess I can shove my 450h ingametime up my unworthy p(l)ayer cheeks and enjoy to be part of this growing community of exclusive excluded Players. Thx a lot for ignoring me an those other poor souls having this hillarious dx11 dx12 'buglike EPIC-DEV-Catfight scam 'bug'. I'll try to avoid those 'Gothic'-like software disasters till they're bassically fixed (dont worry, shouldnt take up more than 5-6 years -.-))

The game does NOT run on dx11, UE5 nanite doesn't support it, so you can stop trying that command.
