Anti-Cheat integrity check failed (i.e. 0x2200)

1. might be temporary -> just try again
   
2. file handle still open -> restart pc
   
   1. make sure to "Restart" (not Shutdown and boot back up as this might do a "quick boot" which is not what we want)
      
3. corrupted steam download cache -> clear it

long loading/waiting to join/non-full servers are suddenly full/connection timeouts

1. the numbers (i.e. 91/100) are not reliable the server is actually full -> ignore these
   
2. servers are at capacity -> try a different one, preferably filter for "unofficial"
   
3. we have ~2000 slots capacity on official servers, ~6000+ ppl are online - thounds of people are trying to get on the same server at the same time

FPS Drop + Crash with "Fatal Error." (no additional text) when near Ceratos

1. some interactions with Ceratos seem to cause this -> currently no fix available, sorry, I expect a hotfix by the devs

Crash with "Fatal Error... ...D3D12Submission.cpp... with error 8..."

1. corrupted or outdated drivers (usually gfx driver) -> update drivers (get them from AMD, NVIDIA, Intel directly!)

for AMD GFX:

1. weird amd settings -> enable image sharpening in AMD Adrenalin
   
2. make sure the resolution is set correctly

for NVIDIA GFX:

distorted AUDIO

1. weird game glicht -> set texture settings to Epic (anything below will cause the bad sound effects)
   
2. corrupted drivers -> reinstall them
   
   1. Delete extra Nvidia applications (also NvidiaExperience)
      
   2. Reinstall
      
   3. Update or Reinstall the driver (3 dots at top to reinstall)
      
3. can also be cause by running other applications or streaming/broadcasting

1. Ceratosaurus charged bite audio is delayed
   
2. Organs, fruits and meat chunks can become uninteractable and stuck to the player's face if left too long before swallowed/dropped. Safelog to fix
   
3. Occasionally, a 2nd giant moon will appear in the sky that fixes itself after a few minutes
   
4. Elite fish will sometimes desync and appear to be flying. They are not interactable and will fix themselves when approached. This is usually caused by an admin being in spectator mode
   
5. Additional observation issues with admin spectator mode
   
6. Deinosuchus has an issue where dropping an organ or meat chunk causes it to return to the corpse it was pulled from
   
7. Corpses will occasionally be seen falling from the sky when first rendered
   
8. Group nametags will sometimes disappear and not return if you leave render distance of a player. Regroup to fix
   
9. Sometimes night vision does not work correctly underwater as deinosuchus and beipiaosaurus. Safelogging will fix this

network instability

If it was not the server crashing and your friends stayed in the server then you were experiencing a disconnect nonetheless.
This disconnect can be due to a lot of things for example:

1. temporarily losing the wifi connection to your router
   
2. your router temporarily losing the internet connection
   
3. your router falsely identifying a DDOS attack and shutting the connection down
   
4. some downloads in the background hogging all the resources
   
5. someone on your internet connection doing massive uploads (torrents/streaming)

unexpected PC shutdowns, unexpected reboots, screenflickering, trippy colors

1. a serious issue on your computer -> the game is stressing the PC to a point where some dormant issue reveals itself
   
   1. corrupted config -> delete "Saved" folder
      
      1. press Win + R
         
      2. paste %localappdata%\TheIsle
         
      3. click 'Ok'.
         
      4. delete rename or delete the Saved folder
         
   2. overheating -> improve cooling
      
      1. check your temperatures, google normal temperatures for your hardware this is very specific to your parts (but above 100°C is always bad)
         
      2. make sure the PC/laptop has enough airflow
         
      3. clean the fans (look online for tutorials)
         
      4. check if all fans are working
         
   3. corrupted or outdated drivers -> update drivers (get them from the manufacturer)

1. EAC Setup is missing -> install the game "VRchat" from Steam library, run it once and close it
   
2. play TheIsle
   
3. Background: TheIsle is missing the EAC setup file since the update and we use VRChat's EAC install as a substitute.

I think it might be due to UE5, I've been getting the exact same issue since the release of update 6.5, but I also get a very similar issue on another game that's on UE5 but instead of the code being 1273 its 1274. Both are triggered in the same way and so far none of the fixes I tried work.
