OldNewExplorer causing Easy Anti-cheat to block my game loading?
Just got the game tonight. At first I was having the black screen issue when attempting to host a server. the most recent google result told me to enable beta features in the game's properties in Steam; I did. The game reinstalled, and when I ran it again I got an error that Anti-cheat wasn't installed. Using google again, i was able to find the Easy Anti-cheat batch file and run it. I attempted to run the game again. This time, I got an error message about an "untrusted file"

I know exactly what the untrusted file (OldNewExplorer) is; it's part of a customization I made to my Windows install to restore some pre-windows 8 functionality/appearances because let's face it, windows 10 sucks. If i wanted an app based operating system with a pointlessly counterintuitive interface, I'd...i dunno. use Windows 10.

This time around Google has failed me. I'm not removing my windows customization options; but i would hope there's some way to get Easy anti-cheat to back off and let me run the game.

Alternatively, is there a way to solve the black screen problem without utilizing Beta builds?
