Can't eat, sent, drink, etc

The only thing i am really really mad about Evrima, is that sometimes your dino just stops respoding. U start the game very low on food, you finally find something to eat, you press G, your croc take's a bite of meat, but not eating. As much as you press E he is not eating. I literally just killed a carno, finally some food and i can't eat it. I take a chunk of meat, but my croc is not eating... Anybody had this problem? How do you solve it? I am tired of dying cuz of hunger, having all the food around.

same bug here. it worked at the start but after draging a deer for a short distanz i cant eat anymore...

Same here. I wanna say its really only the Deino that I get this problem. Agree though, very annoying and game breaking in a survival game lol.

I've only found that just full restarting the game works to fix it but it gets REALLY annoying when you have to do that every 5 mins

Try this:

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder.

Same here. Can't eat, can't rest to safe log, can't even auto attack. Nothing works. Great game.

It didn't work, I ended up having to die and respawn to fix it, but after 15 minutes it just happened again, different server, different dino, still happens.

This didnt work, Bumping because 2 months later im also still having this issue, any idea when it will be fixed?

Still happens now. Nothing fixes but death.
Its not corrupt settings files. its not corrupt or old control files.
It randomly happens DURING gameplay with NO changes to controls or settings.
Its a game mechanic bug, not a control mapping bug.

What helped to me:
- delete settings directory (AppData\Local\TheIsle)
- uninstall game
- install game
Done.

Theory: a lot of updates mess the game.

with the Therzi it is the same, i only could call or walk/run around

It happens when the game fails to properly register you grabbed something.

- It can happen when you press G to grab, the animation plays and you don't actually grab it. Well now you're screwed you're holding nothing so you cant eat or drop it.
- It can also happen when you're holding something and it somehow pops out of your mouth. Often happens switching between water and land as a Deino. Have not tested other dinos much.

And this will keep happening no matter how many times Punch tells you to delete the saves folder, until they fix it.

The temporary fix is to SAFELY log out and log back in.

I'm having the same problem in legacy, just with sandbox dinosaurs(acro, spino, theri, etc.) I can't eat anything or nest, and when I press insert diet and assest age are blank... Anyone know what I can do to fix it?
