So I tried that all before I replied
turned off FW
turned off AVG
Flushed Dns with ipconfig /flushdns
still same exact problem. :(
The Isle update was the only change to my system
no new hardware, no new software
never changed any settings or tweaks to the game / system

If you're getting outdated servers it means you're trying to join the wrong server. Join servers with the same version. So if you're on dev branch join The Official Dev servers.
But i know the problem.
When they switched to a newer version of the Unreal Engine, some of the ports it uses where changed.
Certain people whom have non standard internet setups, conflict with those ports and prevent you from connecting to the servers.
It's not The Isle's issue and most likely not under Dondi's control.
If you have Star Wars battle front II or another game that uses the same UE or above, you will have the same problem.
This is 100% the issue, but i can't tell you exactly how to fix it.
Just mess with your ports and internet software and you might fix it.
It works for me now but i did lots of changes from a year ago
I cant say "this" was reason, nor give u a list of changes
just came back one day and boom it worked
