Fixed that...
With those it is also a 50/50 chance if I'm able to find them in one minute and won't be able to do so in the next 10 minutes after.
Tried with a simple reinstall but without any success.
Sooooooooo, I tried not even searching for a specific server though. At this point nothing pops up at all so you're not alone on that.
Try this:
Please reset your system’s Winsock connection settings by opening a Windows command prompt as administrator (go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories, right-click on “Command Prompt” and choose “Run as administrator”) and entering “netsh winsock reset" (without the quotes). Reboot your computer and check if your problem is fixed now.
If you're a Windows 10 user simply type "CMD" into the search bar at the bottom left, right click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator", then continue following the instructions above.
Followed your instructions and did execute the cmd with run as administrator and restartet the PC. But sadly no victory. Again all I could find was the empty Silversakura server I never played on.
What anti-virus/firewall programs do you use?
I'm using norton security.
I switched to run the isle as administrator and added a firewall exception for the isle as well already. Do you still have any ideas left?^^°
For whatever reason my PC seems to be the perfect QA PC for falling victim to bugs when it comes to the isle.
Try this:
- Adjust your Steam In-Game server browser: Max pings / minutes.
At the top left of Steam you’ll see a little button labeled “Steam”, left click that and select settings > in-game > and adjust the dropdown menu at the bottom to around 1000. You may need to tinker around and find the magic number that works for you, afterwards simply hit ok and launch The Isle.
Thanks a lot for your time and effort! I really apreciate your work!
Happy to help. Feel free to add me on Steam/Discord if you ever need help or have questions. It's much easier to solve problems such as this through live messaging.
