Steam subsystem failure
So this new patch has messed up my computer. When I tried going to dev at the time before this patch it gave me the same issue, saying steam subsystem failure.

I’ve deleted the save files, I’ve verified the file integrity, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, same with steam, I’ve done the netsh winsock commmand prompt. Nothing has worked. What do I do, or is my isle forever messed up?

After doing the netsh winsock command prompt what did it say in the command prompt? Before restarting your computer.

It said it was successful in doing so and to restart my computer, which is what I did.

I’m not exactly sure what else I can do. I even tried excluding my files for The Isle under the COMODO antivirus/firewall issue. Still didn’t work.

Did you exclude the entire folder? Also try running Steam as an administrator, sounds like it may be a privilege issue.

Well I ended up doing a factory reset on my computer. Once I reinstall the game I’ll test to see if everything works out. If it doesn’t, I’ll run steam as an administrator.
