The Isle for Mac

I have been having troubles with loadng The Isle on my mac. I've seen a video of someone playing the Isle on mac and they said it was like any other game on steam that you downlaod then play? this is obviously not true for me because everytime I open The Isle it crashes and says "the isle quit unexpectidly." Im not sure if its because my computers not a pc? I was thinking of downlaoding winebottler and getting the steam for mac thing thinking it might work but im not sure. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately your system does not meet our minimum requirements. While The Isle does support Mac your hardware in particular is what fails to meet said requirements. Primarily your integrated graphics, we recommend that you utilize a dedicated GPU such as a NVIDIA or AMD.

I've had an issue with The Isle and am only able to play through the legacy {previous stable branch}. Of course this means missing out on the current updates. I really love playing this game and appreciate the hard work in keeping it functional.

Please check the date of a thread before posting, this post is from April 2017.. Which contains plenty of outdated information unrelated as to why The Isle does not work with Mac currently. Right now Mac has a rendering issue preventing us from pushing out more Mac updates, until that's fixed we're unable to push out updates for your platform.

Also your CPU & GPU are below our minimum requirements, seeing as this is a necro'd thread I'll go ahead and lock it for Rule 5. If you'd like to discuss anything else please open a new one.
