No Game can stop cheating using just software alone, even with large teams AAA studios find it an expensive losing battle as the cheats adapt their own software
But one thing that can help is the players reporting any cheat they find to a discord Admin to get those cheaters banned forcing them to buy the game again and having to set up a new steam account, most wont bother after a couple times, sucks for them
See a cheat, Hit F2 in game if not long before when you start playing to Record all actions of others near you in game, it also includes everyone's Steam ID, send that video into a discord Admin to get them banned
Do nothing, expect nothing
Would be nice if we ever heard about them banning cheaters. But no, instead you have hours of time where people are complaining about a cheater on discord on a specific server. The Admins hardly ever say anything. And you dare to say where the cheaters location is, you get in trouble for dropping a location. I've had nights where I have the NA channel open on discord and there's like 30 messages in about an hour or two where all but a few of those messages are complaining about the same cheater...you might see 2 or 3 messages from Admins. If you do happen to report it, if you dont have a recording( as if everyone records their gameplay) the likely hood anything will happen is close to 0 and even with a recording its a toss up if the admins will do anything.
Its policy in most games to not talk publicly about suspected cheaters as this can and is abused, I'm sure you would hate to be as I on the receiving end of a false or malicious claim
Once a cheat is reported with evidence like a video, they will be dealt with, Admins are volunteers, and are not on 24/7.. they also take the time to watch videos in detail and analyse the potential cheat if one occurred, its not instant, but they do do it.. reporting back on actions taken is not going to happen as such feedback can be used and abused by some, also the time taken to give feedback on all this every day is also beyond the time constraint of volunteer Admins
